Rudh Dubh

Rudh Dubh is situated at the most Westerly end of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula on the edge of the village Portuairk.  When planning your journey, please upload and read the detailed instructions.  Note Rudh Dubh is for the sure footed.  In summary;
  • Cross the Ballachulish Bridge, fill up with fuel and take the Corran Ferry to the peninsula
  • Allow at least one and a half hours to travel along the A861 to Salen and then left onto the B8007 to Kilchoan
  • Travel towards the lighthouse, looking for the sign to Portuairk and then...
